HALL MANAGERS (Click for Full Description)
IN GRADUATE, CONFERENCE, HIGH SCHOOL AND SPORTS CAMP HALLS

Hall Managers (HM) direct and coordinate the management of residence halls housing students and guests of the University. HM’s must be available during the day to provide a presence in the hall (typically between 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.). HM’s will also rotate in the on-call schedule with the Assistant Hall Managers to ensure coverage of the hall during the evenings. The Hall Manager position is intended to be a full-time, 40 hour per week position and will be responsible for maintaining community standards as they arise (during both scheduled work hours and during “off-duty” hours). Hall Managers are provided a single room, partial meal plan, local phone service, and an adjusted weekly stipend for the length of the contract.

SUMMER RESIDENT ASSISTANTS (Click for Full Description)
IN UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT HALLS

Summer Resident Assistants (RA) support and maintain the community life of the residence hall housing students and must be generally available during the day and night. RA’s work the front desk during check-ins (typically between 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) and will also rotate in the on-call schedule with the Hall Director to ensure coverage of the hall during the evenings. AHD’s will be supervised by the Hall Director assigned to their hall. The Resident Assistant position is intended to be a part-time, 25 hour per week position and will be responsible for maintaining community standards as they arise (during both scheduled work hours and during “off-duty” hours). Resident Assistants are provided a single room, partial meal plan, local phone service, and an adjusted weekly stipend for the length of the contract.

DESK CLERKS (Click for Full Description)
IN CONFERENCE, HIGH SCHOOL AND SPORTS CAMP HALLS

Desk Clerks staff the front desks of residence halls and must be generally available during both the day and evening hours. A crew of clerks will work with the Hall Manager to provide a welcoming presence in the residence halls, typically between the hours of 10:00 a.m. – Midnight. Scheduling will be coordinated through the Hall Manager, who also serves as a direct supervisor for clerks in the hall. The Desk Clerk position is intended to be a part-time position with flexible scheduling. Desk Clerks are paid $7.25 per hour and are provided a standard room in a residence hall.

ORLH STUDENT OFFICE ASSISTANTS (Click for Full Description)

Student Office Assistants are responsible for answering telephones, assisting guests and will also complete data-entry, deliver correspondence and run errands. Office Assistants will also complete general office duties, tasks and projects typically between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Office Assistant position is intended to be a part-time position with flexible scheduling. Office Assistants are paid $7.50 per hour and are provided a standard room in a residence hall.
