If you are admitted and confirmed as a summer session student and have an active Notre Dame e-mail address you are considered eligible to apply for housing.  To apply, go to inside.nd.edu, and click the Student tab at the top of the screen. Within the Student tab, locate the Student Services channel. There, you will find a link for Home Under the Dome.

You may create your 2008 Summer Session Application at anytime by logging on to inside.nd.edu. Follow the directions and complete STEP 1 and STEP 2.

• After you log in to inside.nd.edu:
  • Click on the Student Life Tab
  • Find the Residence Life and Housing Box.
  • Click on Home Under the Dome
• After Logging in to Home Under the Dome:
• Select STEP 1 on the left side of your screen, followed by Enter Arrival and Departure Dates.
• Enter your Scheduled Arrival Date and Scheduled Departure Date in a MMDDYYYY format.
• Proceed to STEP 2 on the left side of your screen, followed by Accept/Decline and Indicate Preferences
• Select 2008 Summer Session, proceed to the next screen.
• Choose ACCEPT from the Confirm Application Status portion
• You may request up to three roommates by entering their netID in the fields provided.
• Please answer the questions under ALL APPLICANTS and SUMMER SESSION APPLICANTS (you may skip the questions under APARTMENT COMPLEX APPLICANTS). When done, proceed to the next screen.
• Review your information on this summary page. If correct, click CONTINUE to complete the process; to begin again, click REDO.
• Housing Assignment Notification
• Housing assignments will be sent out via e-mail approximately one week prior to your arrival. You may also log in to inside.nd.edu at that time to view your room and roommate information.
• Cancel your summer housing
• If your plans change and you need to cancel your summer application and or assignment, please e-mail your request to orlh@nd.edu.  There are no fees or penalties for students who need to cancel their summer session housing.
